Faduma's Fellowship
Three months ago I had very little awareness of what adaptive clothing was. I have sat in countless design meetings and fittings, never did one person in the room question how 20% of the UK population would wear the garments being discussed.
Fashion for everybody is a conversations has to be had and action needs to be taken to ensure that everybody can wear the clothes that they love. Faduma and the amazing team at Faduma’s Fellowship are working hard to ensure this happens and I am elated to be a part of it.
With extensive research by Rebecca and Melissa Everette, considered design and innovative pattern cutting, we have proposed a collection that I can’t wait to create for Faduma’s Fellowship. This will be the first full collection to launch during London Fashion Week designed with wheelchair users at it's heart.

Discovered in Newcastle. Crafted in England.
We are so excited to reconnect and collaborate seven years after starting our journey in Newcastle together on Northumbria University's Fashion BA course. Our contrasting approaches to design have led to a truly unique and distinctive collection, crafted by two creatives with a shared passion. A celebration of individual styles and journys that lead us to where we are today.
