THE STORY SO FAR
A life long love of fabric and knitting, stitching and sketching & making clothes for teddies has been an accumulation of passions that have developed into a new and exciting label.
Researching the family menswear business in the early 1900s and tracing drapers, milliners, and tailors back through generations encouraged a deeper routed fascination in the fashion industry for Harriet. 100 years later, the once-family business is taking on an alternative interpretation of traditional mens clothing in a new time. This generation, in the form of womenswear.
Working with Palmer//Harding, All Saints and Paul Smith cemented Harriet's interest in pattern cutting and traditional British fashion as well as the desire to set up her own label. Showing at London Graduate Fashion Week and winning Young Designer of the Year at Midlands Fashion Awards was the start of the adventure that has developed into the HARRIET ECCLESTON
Every garment is designed and cut to be comfortable and easy to wear whilst being classic and refined. Harriet aims to instil confidence and strength in the modern woman through easy to wear, striking pieces that make you feel like an exceptional you.
