Workshop Terms & Conditions

1. Registration and Payment

  • All participants must complete the registration form and pay the deposit of £45 to secure a spot

  • This deposit is non-refundable unless the workshop is canceled by the organiser

  • Spaces are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis

  • The final balance must be paid via bank transfer before the date of the workshop

2. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations made more than 14 days before the workshop date will be eligible for a refund of the balance

  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 14 days before the workshop start date

  • In case of illness or emergency, credit toward a future workshop may be offered at the discretion of the organiser

3. Workshop Changes

  • The organiser reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a workshop due to low enrolment, instructor illness, or unforeseen circumstances

  • In such cases, participants will be offered a full refund or a spot in a rescheduled workshop

 

4. Participant Responsibilities

  • Participants must arrive on time and be prepared with any required materials or tools unless otherwise provided

  • Safety instructions must be followed at all times. The organiser is not responsible for injuries caused by negligence or failure to follow directions

  • Respectful behaviour toward instructors and fellow participants is expected at all times

 

5. Materials and Equipment

  • Materials and tools may be provided or required to be brought by the participant—details will be specified prior to the workshop

  • Any damage to workshop equipment caused by misuse may result in charges to cover repairs or replacements

6. Accessibility

  • Please note that our workshop space is located upstairs and may not be suitable for individuals with limited mobility or those requiring step-free access

  • If you have specific accessibility needs, please contact us prior to booking to discuss possible accommodations

 

7. Photography and Media

  • Photos or videos may be taken during the workshop for promotional purposes

  • If you do not wish to appear in media, please inform the organiser in writing prior to the workshop

 

8. Liability Waiver

  • By registering, participants acknowledge that sewing involves the use of sharp tools and sewing machines, and they participate at their own risk

  • The organiser is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage to personal property during the workshop

9. Workshop Duration

  • The workshop is scheduled to run run for the duration stated at the time of booking, please arrive on time

  • While we aim for all participants to complete their projects during the allotted workshop time, the complexity of some projects, individual working speeds, or unforeseen delays may result in unfinished work.  The workshop will continue up to 30minutes after the scheduled end time, if after this time participants are welcome to take their projects home and finish at their own pace. Guidance on how to complete unfinished work will be provided in class or as an emailed instruction sheet. Follow-up support may be available via email for simple queries, but ongoing instruction beyond the scheduled session is not included in the workshop fee.
