The Casual Collection

At HARRIET ECCLESTON, we partnered with a brilliant company to help produce the Casual pieces at the prices you love.
Crafted with head, hand and heart,  it is important that our partners do the same

GOTS Certified Organic Cotton

The bases to the Casual Collection are produced exclusively from organic Indian cotton, and the entire production process is controlled and certified in accordance with the latest version of GOTS.

Produced with Renewable Energy

The Casual bases are made in manufacturing facilities powered by green renewable energy, from low-impact raw materials. Their carbon footprint has been reduced by 90% and the calculations were certified by the Carbon Trust in the UK.

Socially and Environmentally Responsible

Based in Tamil Nadu, Southern India, the state-of-the-art technology and ultra-modern infrastructure provide the setting for the textile industry's leading showcase of socially and environmentally responsible production.

Embellished with Meaning

The Casual bases then arrive at the HARRIET ECCLESTON studio in Sheffield, England.  Here they are embellished with their meaning, a powerful pocket, crafted from British fabrics.

Sustainably Packed

Once your garment finished, checked, pressed and ready to leave the studio, it is carefully packaged.
I use recycled, biodegradable packaging that is easy to compost.  The garments inspiration and meaning is then hand written onto a postcard, (inspired by the original postcards from the old family shop) and addressed personally to you.

Crafted with head, hand and heart, always.

* Please note that this information is based on my best understanding & used to best inform you of the process behind the garments
